Pre-Training Reading

*There is a translation of the Yoga Sutras in the back of your copy of Heart of Yoga by Desikachar. If you would like an alternative version to compare and contrast, there are many translations available online (such as this handy compendium) as well as affordable hardcopy versions. For the Yoga Sutras as well as for the Bhagavad Gita, we recommend that you browse a few different translations and settle on one that you feel good with, since different translators can have very divergent interpretations!
